Here at JAK Publications, we have our longest serving employee Phil Hawkins unfortunately leaving the company. Phil has got the opportunity to move to America and from everyone at JAK Publications, we would like to wish Phil all the very best for what is a huge future ahead of him. JAK Print and Design run by a local father and son team is defying the economic trend having just opened up a second office in Darlington and taking on new staff.
John and Andrew Knowles, originally from Darlington have come back to their home town to expand their business, which offers a full colour design, print and leaflet distribution service.
Originally opening in 2005 in Chester-le-Street the latest expansion in Darlington, sees JAK grow to a 12-strong team, with the appointment of Joe Crooks and Johnny Oakland as graphic designers. It is also in the process of recruiting a third person to take on a sales role from the North Road office.
